Carrying out a survey of villages in the New Territories and taking stock of the unauthorised building works and stepping up enforcement against those UBWs which are actionable items of the first-round enforcement targets.
Project Summary
Carrying out investigations and inspections, preparing survey reports with recommendations
Arranging for ownership checks, checking the land information and NTEH status
Preparing and delivering advisory letters to the owners/occupants, and preparing statutory UBWs removal orders under section 24 of the Buildings Ordinance
Conducting compliance inspections, preparing and submitting reports on compliance with recommendations, preparing and submitting compliance letters
The pilot project to conduct aerial surveys via the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)/ drones at villages
